Shaping Learning For Life

Stockbridge - Primary and Pre-school

Key Stage 1 (Year 2)

Year 2 children undertook reading and maths tests.  Writing is not assessed in the same way using a test but through teacher assessment which is moderated and standardised both with colleagues in school, colleagues across our cluster of 8 schools and with the Local Authority.  We follow this good practice of checking with both maths and reading also.

We have a very good track record of performance at KS1 and consistently perform above the national and local averages.

The data in the table below relates to 2016 outcomes from the academic year 2015-16.  We are still waiting for national data from 2016-17 to be published (due November).  For reference, our school scores for the 2016-17 are provided in brackets.
